This year’s Convention will be held at the Delta Montreal on President Kennedy (www.deltamontreal.com); to make your reservation call 514-286-1986 or 1-877-286-1986 and mention code GCZETA to be eligible for the convention room rate of $139/night. The room rate extends several days before and after convention, if you would like to spend more time taking advantage of the city of Montreal.
IMPORTANT UPDATE! The Delta Montreal is now officially "completely" full. There may be some one night options, but to book a block from Thursday to Saturday please get in touch with IHQ directly. A close and affordable alternative option is The Sheraton Centre, or you can look at a map of other hotels in the area.
This year marks a series of special events for our annual International Convention. This year we join the Alpha Psi chapter at McGill University in celebrating their 125th anniversary. In addition, we commemorate another milestone in Zeta Psi firsts, as brothers from our newly installed chapter at the University of Oxford ‘cross the pond to join our circle.
Our 161st Convention will boast new Leadership Training courses, along with completely revised course tracks for both undergraduates and alumni. Our standard awards lunches will be held to honor those brothers and chapters that have performed exceptionally well, and with such a strong year for Zeta Psi, these awards should certainly prove noteworthy to all our chapters.
In addition, the city of Montreal has many wonderful things to offer, both before, during, and after our convention. From fantastic golf courses and great casinos, to diverse backgrounds and cultural diversions, Montreal has something to offer everyone. The convention committee is also developing a series of events, opportunities, and outings for those bringing significant others and children, so we encourage all to attend.
Montreal is an expensive city, especially with current exchange rates for our American brothers. In order to keep the pricing affordable for the many undergraduates who will be coming from across North America we are looking to Elders to become Convention Sponsors. By making a small donation, you are allowing hundreds of students to benefit from this Zete-experience in our terrific city. Sponsorship levels are only $100, $200 and $300. All sponsors will be recognized during the convention. (If you cannot attend the convention please consider becoming a sponsor anyway, in the spirit of Tau Kappa Phi).
For more information about the convention or becoming a sponsor, please feel free to contact Barth Gillan ( or (514) 931-8792 ext 205).
We look forward to seeing you in August. Don’t Be Dull!!
P.S. After you have recovered from the Convention, plan to attend our annual Commemoration Dinner, which will be held on Saturday, November 15.
