Scholarships

The Zeta Psi Educational Foundation awards roughly 75 scholarships each year to eligible students in the United States. The Zeta Psi Foundation of Canada offers scholarships to students in Canada, using a different application. Each US scholarship is a one-time award up to $400, but there is no limit to the number of semesters an individual may apply and receive this award. In addition, one $1000 scholarship is also awarded each semester. This scholarship application is also available from all local chapter Presidents and will soon be available on this website. Deadlines are September 21 at 5pm for the fall, and tentatively February 15 for the spring.

The Zeta Psi Foundation of Canada awards merit and need-based scholarships each year to eligible students in Canada studying at campuses where there are Zeta Psi chapters. Candidates are judged in four areas with the following weightings: Academics: 30%; Activities: 20%; Financial Need: 30%; References: 20%. Along with the application, the scholarship committee requires the following:

• Most recent academic transcript
• unofficial transcripts are accepted
• freshmen applicants can submit a high school transcript
• three (3) letters of recommendation from
• the Active Phi (in the case of the Phi, the Beta Pi or Elder Phi)
• a work or volunteer reference
• a professor (other academic references are considered, but garner less merit)
