Scholarships
The Zeta Psi Educational Foundation awards around 75 scholarships each year to eligible students in the United States. The Zeta Psi Foundation of Canada offers scholarships to students in Canada, using a different application (See below). Each US scholarship is generally a one-time per semester award of $500. There is no limit to the number of semesters an individual may apply for and receive an award. In addition, two or three exceptional applicants each semester receive awards ranging from $750 to $2,500.
Application Deadlines are at 5:00 PM Eastern time on September 19th 5pm for the fall, and January 23rd for the spring. PLEASE BE SURE TO CAREFULLY FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS.
US GRADUATE STUDENTS ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP.
The Zeta Psi Foundation of Canada awards merit and need-based scholarships each year to eligible students in Canada studying at campuses where there are Zeta Psi chapters. Candidates are judged in four areas with the following weightings: Academics: 30%; Activities: 20%;
Financial Need: 30%; References: 20%. Along with the application, the scholarship committee requires the following:
- Most recent academic transcript
- unofficial transcripts are accepted
- freshmen applicants can submit a high school transcript
- three (3) letters of recommendation from
- the Active Phi (in the case of the Phi, the Beta Pi or Elder Phi)
- a work or volunteer reference
- a professor (other academic references are considered, but garner less merit)
