GreekLifeEdu

What is GreekLifeEdu?

GreekLifeEdu is an online alcohol abuse prevention seminar. It continues to be a part of our Membership Development Program. It consists of a series of videos, tests, and surveys issued in two parts, which must be taken at least 30 days apart.

All new members (both Fall and Spring initiation classes) are required to complete and pass the entire GreekLifeEdu online course seminar. The deadline for completion is May 1st (5/1) at the end of each academic year.

The purpose of this program is education. Significant energy has been taken to develop a program that is both informative and interesting and only with your openness to this program cannot it succeed. Answers will not be reviewed nor will your privacy (other than your completion and pass/fail rates) be released to us. Please answer the questions and surveys honestly and to the best of your ability to ensure that you get the most out of this experience.

How to Complete GreekLifeEdu

1. Go to www.GreekLifeEdu.com
2. On the right side of the home screen, there is a login for new users. In the space provided, enter your chapter's school code (this must be obtained from either IHQ or the chapter Phi)
3. Complete the sign-up process and begin the seminar
4. Please remember to write down your password so you can return and complete the second part

Program Requirement

Each chapter that does not have 100% completion for all recorded new members will receive an additional 10% surcharge added to the following year's liability insurance bill. This is non-negotiable and required by our overall insurance policy.

Exemptions

Some schools or programs require that students take GreekLifeEdu, or some similar program, before registering for classes or at some point in your academic studies. These chapters are exempt from retaking the GreekLifeEdu seminar for our purposes. DO NOT ASSUME YOU ARE EXEMPT. If there are any questions about whether or not you must take GreekLifeEdu, please contact IHQ for clarification. If your school has recently enacted a similar policy, please let us know, and we will handle each school on a case by case basis.
